Kazcade Privacy Policy

Effective date: 9 September 2026 Last updated: 9 September 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Kazcade (the "App", "Game", "we", "us", or "our") handles information. Kazcade is a free, ad-supported casual puzzle game published by No Free Lunch, the maker of the App with bundle/application identifier com.nofreelunch.kazcade, distributed on the Apple App Store and Google Play.

Contact: support@kazcade.app Website: https://kazcade.app

We designed Kazcade to work without accounts, without logins, and without a Kazcade server. Your game progress lives on your device. The main way information about you can be collected is through the advertising service (Google AdMob) and the in-app purchase services provided by Apple (App Store) and Google (Google Play), described below.

1. Short version (summary)

The rest of this policy explains each point in detail.

2. Who is responsible for your data

Several parties may be involved, and it is important to understand which is which:

PartyRoleGoverned by
No Free Lunch (Kazcade)Makes the App. Stores your game data on your device only. Does not operate a server that receives your data. This policy
Google (AdMob)Serves the ads inside the App and provides the consent form used in some regions. May collect device and usage data to deliver and measure ads.Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services
Apple (App Store)Distributes the App on iOS and processes iOS in-app purchases. Provides the App Tracking Transparency prompt.Apple Privacy Policy
Google (Google Play)Distributes the App on Android and processes Android in-app purchases (Google Play Billing).Google Privacy Policy

When you use Google's or Apple's services through the App, their privacy policies apply to the data they collect. We encourage you to read them.

3. Information stored on your device (by Kazcade)

The App stores the following locally on your device using the operating system's standard app-preferences storage (shared_preferences). This information is not transmitted to us and is not associated with any account:

Because this data lives only on your device, we have no ability to access, retrieve, export, or delete it remotely. You control it (see Section 7).

4. Information collected through advertising (Google AdMob)

Kazcade is free and supported by ads. Ads are delivered by Google AdMob using the google_mobile_ads SDK on both iOS and Android. We show interstitial (full-screen) and rewarded (opt-in, watch-for-a-bonus) ads.

To select, deliver, cap, and measure ads — and to detect invalid/fraudulent activity — Google and its advertising partners may collect and process:

This collection is performed by Google, not by Kazcade, and is governed by Google's policies. See:

On iOS, your device also participates in Apple's SKAdNetwork, a privacy-preserving system Apple uses to measure ad-driven app installs without identifying you individually; the relevant ad-network identifiers are declared in the App's configuration. On Android, Google provides comparable, privacy-oriented install measurement.

While a Kazcade Plus membership is active, the App stops showing ads and the AdMob ad units are no longer requested for you.

5. Your consent and choices for ads (GDPR / ATT / Android)

Before ads are personalized, the App asks for the consent required in your region:

Additional controls:

6. In-app purchases (Apple App Store & Google Play)

Kazcade offers optional in-app purchases, processed entirely by Apple (App Store / StoreKit) on iOS and Google (Google Play Billing) on Android via the in_app_purchase plugin. Available products include gem and coin bundles, the Kazcade Plus auto-renewable subscription (monthly or annual, which removes ads and grants member perks), a one-time new-player Starter Pack, and undo packs.

See Apple's Privacy Policy and Google's Privacy Policy.

7. Data retention and deletion

8. Children's privacy

Kazcade is a general-audience casual puzzle game. It is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction, such as under 16 in parts of the EEA). The App serves third-party advertising and offers in-app purchases and is not designed or intended as a "child-directed"/"kids" title.

Kazcade is rated 4+ / general audience (and the equivalent PEGI 3 / ESRB Everyone tiers) and is deliberately not enrolled in the App Store Kids category or in Google Play's child-directed / Designed for Families programs, because third-party ads and in-app purchases are incompatible with those programs.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. We do not ask for a name, email, phone number, photo, or precise location. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App's advertising or purchase services, please contact us at support@kazcade.app and contact Google/Apple as appropriate, and we will assist in addressing it. This section is intended to reflect the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar frameworks.

9. Security

We store game data using the operating system's standard app-storage mechanisms and rely on the device's own protections. Because Kazcade does not transmit your data to us and does not maintain accounts, there is no Kazcade server-side database of players to breach. No method of electronic storage is 100% secure; ad and purchase data handled by Google and Apple are protected under their respective security programs.

10. International users

The App can be used from many countries. Any processing of data by Google (ads and Google Play) and Apple (App Store) may involve transfer to and processing in countries other than yours, under their safeguards and policies. Kazcade itself does not transfer your data internationally because it does not collect it on a server.

11. Third-party links and services

This policy covers only the Kazcade App. The advertising, payment, and platform services it relies on are operated by third parties with their own privacy policies:

Ads may link to third-party websites or app-store pages that we do not control. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties.

12. Your rights

Depending on where you live (e.g. EEA/UK under GDPR, or California under the CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict/object to the processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent.

We do not "sell" your personal information for money. Serving personalized ads through Google AdMob may, under some laws such as the California CPRA, be considered "sharing" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising; you control this through the consent, ATT, and Android ad settings described in Section 5, and choosing non-personalized ads (or subscribing to Kazcade Plus) stops it. We have not designated a Data Protection Officer or EU/UK representative; for any privacy question, contact support@kazcade.app.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and post the new version at https://kazcade.app/privacy. Material changes may be highlighted in the App or store listing. Your continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
